About the Chef - Evan Blomgren

Chef and Proprietor Evan Blomgren has over 17 years of experience at some of New Jersey’s finest restaurants. Most recently, he added his unique flare to the elegant Lahiere’s in Princeton. Before that he served as sous chef at Chamber’s Walk in Lawrenceville, N.J., The Metuchen Inn, and Church Street Bistro in Lambertville, N.J. Evan began to gain attention at Martine’s in New Hope, PA where he was known for his culinary delights.

Aside from being a member of the American Culinary Association, New Jersey Restaurant Association and Slow Foods, he is a graduate of New York’s famed French Culinary Institute.

Evan has been fine-tuning his skills as he prepared to bring all the fruits of his labor together for the opening of his Rocky Hill Inn. It has been his hard work and dedication that has taken the historic building to new found fame. His fresh and inventive menu is the culmination of meeting old world elegance and new world innovation.
